I am a bit in doubt as to whether one should preferably uninstall the Photoshop CS from the computer before installing the CS 2 – thus, I bear in mind that the two versions may be using some common files, and so far I have let the CS remain on the computer, but still it takes up place on the HD to have both versions installed…could anybody possibly come forward with a good advice, pls+

my advice is to leave them both until you’re fully comfortable with cs2. when you’re ready, after a week or a few months, whatever, uninstall CS and say "no" when the uninstaller asks you if you want to remove shared files.

Thanks Dave, it seems to me to be the right thing to do+

I removed CS after installation of CS2 and removed some important files in the process. I put the CS2 disk back in and it just asked if I wanted to repair the files with no prompt from me. I clicked yes and it fixed everything back up right and no re-activation either. They make a good software disk!
