Problem with saving an image (PSD)

Photoshop CS2

Frequently when trying to save I get the error message "Could not save \file name\ because it’s in use or was left open". I know it’s open that’s why I’m trying to save it.

A second save will frequently get it saved. Sometimes it takes several tries.

I believe it’s a bridge problem. you might want to check or post in the bridge forum.

I found that if I got that error all I do is go and look at another image in Bridge (not even open it!) and then go back and save the image. Works every time!
