Hi guys, I had a trial for Photoshop, but now it’s run out. However, someone told me a box would appear where I can activate it, but nothing as appeared. Now someone has said it’s a menu but I can’t get into the program to find the menu!

Any help on where I can activate it? Online perhaps?

You need to buy Photoshop in order to use it after the evaluation period is over.

Did you call Adobe and buy it?

Geez! Please pay attention. When using the evaluation version, there is a dialog that pops up every time you launch the program that provides a field for entering a serial number to activate the full version. Since I now have the full version, I can’t check whether it pops up after the evaluation period has ended or if there’s a way to access that dialog in the expired trial. That’s what D E P was asking. Anyone know?

I’m trying to, but he hasn’t said whether or not he called Adobe to actually buy the product. If he does, I’m sure they’ll be happy to assist him in getting it going.

I’d only call Adobe as a last resort too. Any time I have in the past it’s meant at least an hour on the phone and then trying to deal with someone who’s either incompetent or so bored they don’t care. When I ordered the CS1 upgrade direct from Adobe it took 4 calls and 3 faxes (they "lost" the first two). If I had the option of activating the trial version or calling Adobe, you can pretty much guess which one I’d take.

Yeah, I was thinking of it as a sort of last resort. I was hoping there was somewhere I could do it online etc.

Only, on my evaluation version, I couldn’t find the area before it expired.
