CS2 produces strange red cast in all open images. Monitor profile is correct. Cast disappeares when Monitor profile is set as Working RGB.

But! Pay attention to red icons at channel palette….
What’s wrong?

There is small (1.2 Mb) video reproducing of situation:

very strange Photoshop CS2 behaviour

….is ofen cured by trashing the Preferences file (details in the FAQs). I assume you’ve run Adobe Gamma?

Emptying Preferences was the first my advice for guy that has color management problem. Another – rerun AG. And the last – reinstalling Photoshop. You and me both have same solutions 🙂
And it’s not my problem. I’ve taken it from one designer’s forum in Russia. 🙂 My own Photoshop runs fine!
This topic is interesting for me because of all red icons at Channels palette.

Thank You very much for response!
