Multiple Image resizing

In CS2 if one uses the Magnifying Glass to zoom in on an image all open documents on the desk top are zoomed not just the active one. Was this change intentional? This strange operation on all open documents does not take place on a Zoom Out or Fit to Screen. This behavior does not take place if the Zoom In is performed thorugh the View pulldown menu.

In the magnifier options bar, uncheck "Zoom All Windows."
