"Snap to"

Hello. I was wondering if people ever had problems with the "Snap to" function in photoshop. I am trying to line up text so I figured i would use a guide. My two pictures are the same size, same resolution, same word even. Except they are snapping to different places. Is there something I could be missing and not taking into account as to why the words snap to different places? Thanks!

Is View>Snap to set to anything else besides Guides? If you want to enable snapping for only one option, make sure the Snap command is disabled, and then choose View > Snap To and choose an option. This automatically enables snapping for the selected option, and deselects all other Snap To options.
