I currently have Photoshop 5.0 LE, and am trying to upgrade to Photoshop 7.0, but the following error comes up "verification Error" a qualifying version of Photoshop was not detected." Does this mean I can’t upgrade from 5.0 LE? Did I just waste money on 7.0? Please Help! Thanks

It does indeed, Sandra.

You will need a FULL version of Photoshop and not an upgrade – there is no upgrade path from LE which was superseded a long time ago by Photoshop Elements.

And just exactly where did you buy PS 7.0? That’s two versions out of date.

Yes.
However if you have a valid 7 disc you can install a valid upgrade version of CS2.
I don’t know if that qualifies as piracy or is illegal, however.
