Hello!

Was wondering if there was a free shape or vector graphic of the united states, where the states were separated somewhere out there.

I was given a black and white photocopy that I thought I could slap into ps6 and select all the states individually and make them into a path that I could use as a shape.

It’s not giving very good results.

If anyone knows of anything on these lines, gimmie a holla!

There are versions available as Photoshop Custom Shapes in the Adobe Studio Exchange. Nope, just ps6. But the shapes thing that phosphor linked to should work great – i just gotta piece ’em together WOOOHOOOO! LOL. That’s gonna be hard to scale. Myabe I worded it wrong…

But it’s still a lot of help.

Hi There,

I am very interested in this map thing too, actually I posted almost this same question on the same day in the Illustrator forum.

Anyone know where I could find a royalty free USA map that I can image map, possibly modify? Maybe one with Java rollovers, states changing color?

Maybe a map that has the states drawn out as vector shapes? I’d love to make a map that I can java roll over and the states enlarge or change color or texture, and that I can link, something like that.

Map templates, or shareware or freeware or maybe even a photoshop or an Illustrator plug in available that I could use to easily create such a map?
