Why can’t you use the bracket keys? Don’t quite understand that. Have you tried another keyboard?
In the Shortcuts did you look under Layer> Arrange? Bring forward, etc.
yeah i tried another one but still doesnt work..the keyboard shortcut for fill opacity does nt work too.and i could nt find it too
birng forward changes the layer order i don t wanna do that.actually i know that command
my point is when u recording an action.if u select a layer with mouse..everytime u play that action it always looks for the layer that u click(u must have a layer with the same layer name in order to play).to avoid that u must select it with keyboard shortcut
First…please explain to us what a "q keyboard" is. I don’t have a clue.
Second…on a standard American English keyboard, "ALT + ]" and "ALT + [" cycles the highlighting (that is, which layer is targeted) up and down through the stack, respectively;
"CTRL + ]" and "CTRL + [" moves the targeted layer up and down through the stack, respectively.
Add SHIFT to either of those combinations to jump directly to the top and bottom of the stack. What your having a "q keyboard" might mean in all of this is still pending the explanation of what a "q keyboard" is, exactly.
Also, if you could please…Replies are a WHOLE lot easier to read if you fully spell out all words like "you" and "are", and don’t use SMS/Text message abbreviations such as "u" and "r". Many of us can read them, but they’re not common knowledge for all visitors, including older folks and non-English speakers. Besides, you’re really not saving much time or effort by not spelling them out. It’s just a nice courtesy for those who may want to help answer your questions.
Thanks.
ok I don t know really ehich type it is.But you must press alt+9 key (not in numpad) to write the ] what might be the problem.is there a problem?
Get a regular keyboard!
🙂
Baris,
I suspect you are using a non-English keyboard.
Isn’t there another forum appropriate to your language? Most of us here are not familiar with foreign keyboards.
In Control Panel > Regional and Language Options check ALL the settings to ensure that they match your keyboard.
ok if everything is about the keyboard problem then can anyone tell me that where the keyboard shortcut for selecet previous/next layer command is.
Read my first reply more carefully!
It used to be that some cracked versions of the software were keyboard shortcuts delimited.
I wouldn’t know, but that sounds like BS to me.
Cracking an app should have no effect on whether keyboard shortcuts work or not.
yeah i have read your first recommend…But nothing to do with that..I m using a xp sp2 (english) with all updates done…But using turkish regional settings.i m sure the problem is about it…But how to solve it guys.? (q keyboard) and if it s not possible is there a way of chancing the select previous/next layer command and modify for my itcy keyboard(according to u:))
But using turkish regional settings
I’d bet that’s you problem right there.
That is is exactly what I was referring to.
If you are using an English version of the OS and PS, the application probably will not react as expected when using a Turkish keyboard and code page. Get a cheap English keyboard, reboot, and switch to the English code page to use Photoshop.

Just to be fair, the early cracks of CS had this issue as a symptom. It didn’t last long, but it was reported here right around the time of the Creative Suite debut.
Stoopid crackers..be more crackerjack!
🙂
I think there is nothing about software.I hope this harware solution will fixes it.
