I’ve tried several times to load my Photoshop 6.0 program into a new computer with Windows XP. When I click on some of the tools such as the paint bucket, air brush or eye dropper, the cursor does not change as it did in Windows 98. I also noticed some of the filters are grayed out even though this is a full version. Is there an updated installer for the program I need to use? Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Gary

The cursor not changing is normally due to bugs in the video card driver.

And…

I also noticed some of the filters are grayed out even though this is a full version.

Some filters won’t be available depending on the Mode of the image and the bit depth. If you are in RGB and at 8-bits, they should all be available.
