Open Windows Explorer or My Computer and go to –
C:\ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe Photoshop CS2 \ Plug-Ins

Leslie Ann,

The best advice is to make a new folder for your 3rd party plugins – you can make it anywhere on your hard drive(s) and with any name. Then from Photoshop Preferences you select that folder as your additional plugins folder.

This will make it *much* easier to have 3rd party plugins available should you upgrade your version of Photoshop at any time.

I think someone recommended also that 3rd party plugins be kept away from dedicated plugins folder.

A further advantage is that other programs can access some (if not all) 3rd party plugins but I have yet to try having two or more programs trying to access the same 3rd party plugins folder at or about the same time.
