Have photoshop cs added photoshop cs2 can I remove photoshop?

I have photoshop cs on my pc. I just installed photoshop cs2 upgrade. Do I have to keep photoshop cs or can I remove it? I know it’s a silly question, but before I remove cs I want to make sure I can still use cs2. I don’t want to have programs on my pc that I don’t need, but I’m not sure if photoshop cs and cs2 work together.

Many users prefer to keep the previous version available "just in case". The amount of space freed up by removing it will be relatively small.

Make sure you get the patches to bring it up to version 9.0.2!
