How do I prevent Elements4 from adding ANY metadata?

I do not use the photo browser portion of my E4 (never even clicked on it). I continue to use my other software for that. I understand that E4 uses "tags," and etc to aid in organizing photos in the photo browser but since I do not use the browser, likewise I do not want any metadata added to things I work on in E4. How do I prevent E4 from entering this data?
