Hi,
I have been using Photoshop since version 7.
I always keep more than 1.5K fonts, including English and Chinese codes, installed in my Windows. The fonts list are very unstable. It changes every time I run Photoshop. Most of the time, I can’t even get Times New Roman.
This problem has been existed through out all the versions of Photoshop I have ever used. Is there any fix to that?

1. Find and delete the bad fonts.

2. Use a font manager.

I use Adobe Type Manager to import all fonts. None of the fonts are marked red though. Does it have something to do with memory?

Not if the fonts are properly constructed. But poorly created fonts can cause various problems, and I suspect that if you have 1500 of them, at least some of these were freebies.

As John says, you need to determine which of these are causing a problem.
