Photoshop CS2, WindowsXP

Is there a way to open PDF-files in PS with an action without to have to press the ok button in that rasterize dialog?

Is there a better forum for this question?

Make an action opening any file and saving it. Then run it as a batch on one or more pdf files. That work?

There’s a low-cost Win XP add-on utility that (via software trickery) emulating "clicking on the button" for you, thereby automating the task.

Google: ptfb

Might not be practical for one image at a time, but a real lifesaver for batch processing.

Exactly! That´s why I asked. Thanks.

I just did this and I had the "Override Action ‘Open’ commands" checked and I didn’t get that dialog box…now the only problem is that when I make a Droplet or Batch files, I get the name of the original PDF that I used to make the action.

when I make a Droplet or Batch files, I get the name of the original PDF that I used to make the action.

If your action contains an Export command (Save for Web), that’s one possible explaination of the symptom reported if I’m interpretting it correctly. There is no way to override this.

If you want to use Export (Save for Web) in an action and have control over the file names, you’ll need to rename the files either before or after they are processed via droplet or the Batch command

Does this help?
