Hello. I am new to Photoshop but have what should be a simple question:

I have a .jpg of a map that I changed the Pixel Aspect Ratio to "Anamorphic 2:1" (this creates a somewhat 3-D effect by "laying the map flat" and making the bottom of the image appear closer to you than the top).

All I am trying to do is print with the map with this change. However, I can only get it to print in its original form and even in Print Preview I do not see the change. I did find this archived discussion – <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bc11671> – but could not get anything to work for me.

Any thoughts? Thanks for your help.

That’s not really what the pixel aspect ratios are for.

Use image size and uncheck "constrain proportion" instead,

Or better yet, place the image on its own layer and use th etrasnform tool.
