Hi,
I recently installed Vista (more exactly upgraded from XP), and then CS2. Things worked fine for a while, but then I realized that in Bridge the "Color settings for Creative Suite" was missing. I searched the knowledge base, which recommended removing an Adobe file, etc.
I tried that, and I’m afraid it screwed up something in Vista, so I’m considering re-installing it. The problem manifests itself in a large number of nested folders under Document & settings > All Users > Application Data. See screen cap here:

The problem is that now for some reason I can’t uninstall CS2. Therefore I can’t transfer the registration number.
Note that CS2 seems to work fine (at least it starts fine), and I was able to run Repair on it. I still can’t uninstall it. The Uninstaller goes through several steps and starts the registration number transfer, and then quit with a message that the "installation could not be completed".
I’m currently running Vista as an admin with the UAC disabled.
Note – my request for help isn’t on Vista, it’s on how to uninstall CS2, or alternatively whether there is an alternate process to transfer a product key…
Any help would be much appreciated…
Thanks,
JD
