As Metadata is becoming increasingly used as a means of attaching important image information I wonder why any tag I add via Photoshop or Bridge remains invisible via Window’s ‘right-click’ Properties -> Summary (Simple or Advanced)?

The vast majority of computer users use Windows based computers so it would seem appropriate that clients using Windows machines could see at least the Title, Subject and Author tags via a Windows file properties menu? Why hasn’t Adobe (in collaboration with Microsoft)done whatever’s necessary to make this work? Or does it work and I’ve missed something….??

To answer my own question:

The Microsoft ‘Photo Info’ add-on feature for Windows XP adds the ability to view all the metadata I’ve added to the image via PS or Bridge without need for any software other than the OS.
