Photoshop install error urlmon.dll

the problem has to do with IE7!!!!

Uninstall IE7 and reboot. Your system will roll back to IE6. Adobe photosphop CS2 should install properly now. This is what i had to do .

While updating the system, IE7 installer removes urlmon.dll(along with some other files) from X:/windows/system/dllcache/
Rolling back to IE6 re-installs urlmon.dll and the other files.

Thanks alot! I uninstalled IE7, rebooted, then reinstalled ie7 and it worked like a charm!

Thanks again. Hopefully if anyone else comes across this problem they’ll see this thread and have an easy fix.
