ummm guys my dad just bought a hp laptop with windows vista, and me a photoshop lover was wondering how photoshop CS2 and the upcoming CS3 would work with the windows vista, ummm im not much of a computer person as in knowign all the technical terms and numbers and i was hoping if someone could explains to me how it works and if it doesnt then why?

I’ll skip all the tech terms and numbers then and just say I’ve not had any problems with CS2 or CS3 under Windows Vista Ultimate, at least not apart from problems with CS3 that seem to be with CS3 itself and common to both XP and Vista. I’ll add however that I’ve not really done a lot with CS2/CS3 under Vista yet, but initial observations are good, although Vista performance is a little slower.

Note: This does not mean you’ll not see the installation problems that seem rampant with PS CS3; I just was one of the lucky ones where things went smoothly for both operating systems.

from what I’ve heard CS3 is made to run under Vista CS2 was not.

and cs3 is no longer upcoming. it’s out! 🙂
