Version Cue only ships with the CS Suite, not with individual applications. It shouldn’t affect the abilty to install CS3 applications.
Well for some reason when i try to download photoshop it gets right to the part were it requires version cue and than stops working without an explanation of why.

I have Photoshop CS3 installed on XP Pro System. Automatic updates keep trying to install Adobe Version Cue CS3 client 3.1.0 update but it fails. If Version Cue is not supposed to come with Photoshop, then why is it trying to update the Version Cue Client all the time?
When I looked on the website it said that Version Cue Clien 2.1 had to be installed, which I did successfully.

Disable Version Cue in the preferences for Photoshop. Disable the startup script for Version Cue in the preferences for Bridge.
MAn i cant even get into bridge cs3 because version cue doesn’t work.
You don’t need Version Cue to start Bridge.
I disabled those items. Should work fine now. Thanks.
