Firstly, I spent about 15 minutes on the phone with Adobe support with no help for my problem. I hate to stereotype outsourced help, but after three attempts to explain my issue and hearing the same misdiagnosed solution, I gave up politely.
I recently had to reinstall Windows on my work machine, and have been reinstalling my programs. I purchased the CS2 upgrade two years ago, and been waiting for the opportunity to try CS3 (been using PS since 1994, or there abouts). So I download the CS3 trial, install and when it starts, it’ll let me choose try, then tells me I need to reinstall, shutdown my computer or put in a serial number. So after shutting down and trying again doesn’t work, I try to uninstall, reinstall and I still get the same roadblock. I’m excited to evaluate the program, and ore than likely will purchase the upgrade in 30 days … if I can get to work.
Any ideas on how I can get an evaluation copy that will allow a user to evaluate? And please don’t tell me to turn off my cookies in IE, as I know that is not the problem.
Thanks!
