Hi kids –
My hard drive recently went south, so I had opportunity to install a new one. After re-installing Win2k, I try installing PS7, but find that my installation disc is b0rked. Great! ‘Perfect opportunity to try CS3’, sez I. So I download the trial and try to install it, only to be told that CS3 is for XP2 or greater[1].
Finding another copy of PS7 is probably futile (though I’ll look around), so can anyone advise as to how one gets CS3 to run on Win2k SP4[2]?

[1] as if Vista were greater due to anything other than self-proclamation by M$
[2] updating OS will undoubtedly send me to an *ix flavor and render the whole argument m00t. XP/Vista are decidedly NOT an option, nor is switching to Mac.
