After several months of performing correctly CS3 is now opening with a range of tools showing of no use and the ones I use regularly – layers – history etc not showing.

I cannot find in help – forums – preferences how to correct this. It is a small thing but annoying to have to go and close 7 or 8 items and then to start opening the basic ones each time you open Photoshop.

Any help appreciated

Hi,
– Pull down "Edit > Preferences"
– Go to "Interface" tab
– Check "Remember Palette Locations" gadget

Andrei,

Thanks,

I had not noticed the "remeber palletes" tick box when looking before.
