Hi there,

I opened an jpg image in PS, duplicated it as a layer and went to apply the halftone filter to the layer – the filter just applies a complete ‘white out’ over the image – changing the settings makes no difference.

It’s also happened on some of the other ‘sketch’ filters e.g. photocopy etc.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

What are your Foreground and Background colors in the Color Picker? Hit D to get default black & white.

Is the image 8 bit? Many filters require 8 bit mode to work (also RGB).
