I have a weird problem where I cannot change fonts in Photoshop CS3. If I select type and choose a different font from the list, it has no effect.
This happens on one installation of my CS3 installed on my notebook. The other installtion on my desktop PC does not have this issue.
I have un-installed and re-installed CS3.
I have downlaoded and installed all updates.
I have un-installed and re-installed my fonts in Windows. I have run Font AgentPro 3.0 Windows and used it to check all fonts for any corruption (none found).
I have reset my PS preferences.
I have also re-installed Photoshop CS2 on the notebook and it works fine – which seems to rule out the issue being speciifically font related.
However, I do note that when I start PS CS3 on the desktop, it initializes the type tool at startup each time. However, I do not get this on the notebook – there is no apparent initialization of the type tool at startup.
Anyone got any ideas?
