I’ve never use one before but someone gave me Kodak Picture cd with some pictures they wanted worked on. Had the cd done at Wal-mart I believe. I can not figure how to open it in Bridge then CS3. I feel really stupid! Shouldn’t be that hard. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

There is a plugin for this format. The Kodak CD will contain .jpgs with nested resolutions.

Copy the files to your HD and open them in PS, PS will recognize the format and ask you what rez you would like to open them in.

Still having trouble. Can’t believe something from Wal-Mart is giving me trouble!!! Only files I see on disc are:OCSMEDIA PCD SETUP SUPPORT AUTORUN CONTENT LAUNCH. Do not see anything that looks like image files.

Bob, are those files or directories? I’d bet they are directories (folders), and the images are in either the PCD or Content directories.

Are you sure this is "Picture CD" and not "Photo CD"? Picture CD is a disk with Mac/Windows software and 1.5 Mpx .JPG image files from a single roll of film, while Photo CD is a disk with up to 100 .PCD file, each of which contains multiple sizes of image up to 6 Mpx. (Pro Photo CD adds an additional 24 Mpx image to each file.) Explore the various directories; if you find .JPG files, it’s a Picture CD, but if you find .PCD files, it’s a Photo CD. There’s a Photo CD plug-in that enables Photoshop to open .PCD files (but its quality is questionable, from what I’ve read). No plug-in is needed for the .JPG files on a Picture CD (assuming you can find them)
