Error when importing scan

A workaround might be to run the Epson scan software separately (not from from Photoshop), scan image to a tiff file, then open the tiff in PS.

Hi the above is what I sent to epson. They had me uninstall and reinstall. Did no good.

By work around do you mean to try to scan from the scan utility? I was able to scan directly to a printer with low quality and no ablity to work on it in photoshop. I did connect a computer with photoshop CS loaded and the scanner worked like normal. Which leads me to think that the problem is with CS3.

I sent an attachement by eMail of my problem to Epson. Some days later I got a perfect answer with which I cuold solve the problem. Really professionals !!! Hope it will help you also to contact Epson too and tell them your PC problem.
