Update to CS3 10.0.1 won’t install

I have a 4 gig MacBook Pro with Leopard running Vista Ultimate in Parallels I have installed the Win version of PS CS3 in the Vista partition.

I have not been successful in updating my CS3 to v 10.0.1.

It begins the update but can not successfully complete it.

I have also tried to start PS as an Administrator thinking that might help… But no luck.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Does anyone know a fix??

All my other updates have run successfully.

Are you trying to update from within PS, or with a downloaded patch from the Adobe site?

I have been using the update utility within PS.

Good idea. I’ll try the download.

The Adobe updater is flaky – not just for Photoshop.
