Typically, the first time I open a document in Photoshop CS3, it crashes. Also, unfortunately, it often crashes the first time I save a document. I run a Windows XP machine with a couple gigs of RAM, and this happens even when there isn’t a lot of competition for resources (ie, all programs are closed). I’ve lost some work this way, and would like to find a way around it. I have run the updater and everything appears to be updated. I also purchased this as the Studio product, not the stand-alone Photoshop. The error is one of those "The following program has encountered an error, click here to alert Microsoft" ones.
Any ideas as to what might be going on?
Thanks!
Chris
