I’m using Photoshop 7 on Win 2000.

When I open file browser, the file browser banner is not visible: it is way above the Photoshop 7 banner. I cannot pull the file browser window down to see its banner.

Can somebody suggest what I might do to see the file browser banner?

Thanks,
Phil Smith

first try tab to hide the option bar. sometimes that works. if not, as d wade said reset palette location will work IF your screen res is 1024×768 or better and you can see the palette well. with the palette well visible, reset palette locations will cause the browser to jump into the well where you can grab it and SLOWLY drag it out and place it where you want it.

Hello there,
I am having the same problem as d. but the things you suggested to him are not working for me. The browser window is docked in the upper left corner and I can’t drag it down, nor does it show when I reset the pallette. I even changed my screen resolution but still can’t pull it down.

Any suggestions?

Gary, with File Browser open, click on the little arrow on the File Browser tab in the palette well to access the palette menu, and choose Show in Separate Window.
