Scaling to specific dimentions

I have an object in one file that measures 1.120 in length. I want an object in another file to print at the exact same size. When I use the ruler tool to measure the first object, I can see its exact length. How can I measure the second object and input the 1.120 value and have it scale to that measurement? I am using Photoshop 7 on an XP machine.

If you measured the first object, I assume you are able to measure the second one, as well. So,
1. Adjust the second image so that its resolution is the same as that of the first image.
2. Measure the object in the second image.
3. Calculate the % enlargement or reduction required of the second object
4. Go to Image>Image size and change the Document Size, height and width
increments to Percent. Then enter the % result from Step 3 Good luck.
