Hi,
Fairly new to PS7 and it’s a great program so far but here’s my thing that I need help with:
I drew a sketch and then scanned it into the computer and created a working file using PS7. I have 4 layers so far and I have all layers but the current that I am working on turned off. I’m not sure why the brush engine is sluggish and applying the color like it’s stuttering as I’m moving my Wacom stylus over the area.
I have a partition scratch disk created, as suggested in some of the notations I have read about PS7.
Layer 1) Background which is a star field with a couple of filters applied. Layer 2) The image I am currently working on, a super hero character. Layer 3) An energy ball that started out as a layer, painted black and then a lens flare applied and then the entire layer erased except for the main flare and have a bunch of layer styles applied to it.
Layer 4) Some nice text with layer styles applied to it.
I noticed that the program kinda slowed down a little bit with the layer styles applied. I just can’t believe that 4 lousy layers are going to slow the program down this much causing the brush engine to act this way.
Are there some things I need to be aware of or anything I can do to correct this??
I create a test file and the brush engine works just fine, so it’s something to do with the file, I guess.
HELP!!
Many thanks
