problems with setup under win2000 sp4

it’s OK under win98se
about a week ago i’ve installed win2000, updated it to SP4… and began to install photoshop 7.0…
IT DOES NOT work!!
what may be the reason of it???
plz help – my job has stopped now :(((

Did you actually install Win2K on top of Win 98 to do the upgrade?

i’ve made clean install of win2k
setup does NOT runnin’ under this system((
there wasn’t any error messages((
it just doesn’t want to install

are you an administrator on the box? empty out your temp folders and try again. how far along in the setup does it get? what’s happening on the screen?

Copy the whole of the \Photoshop folder to a new folder on your HDD.

Re-Boot into Safe mode, then try installing from your HDD
