I know this question must come up all the time
but how do you edit the alpha in an existing 32 bit files with ps7?

Did Adobe take some lessons from Microsoft in user interface?

Several different methods available to you.

1) Select>Load Selection – select the alpha channel.

Use the selection tools to modify the selection or swich to Quick Mask mode and use the painting tools to modify the mask

2) Select just the alpha from the channels palette and modify it directly with whatever tools you need
