Has anyone experienced any problems upgrading from PS 5? I’m guessing it’s time for the investment, but I just want to be sure. My PC runs Win2k SP4.

Thanks in advance.

PS CS is a stand alone program. It doesn’t matter what you’re upgrading from.

The only problem would be if you were still running on the same computer that PS 5 was originally installed on. CS will seem a lot slower on an older computer. If you’ve upgraded your computer in the past couple years, it should be okay.

I agree with both the above posts, but posting your specs would give us a better idea of your system’s capabilities…

My PC is only a few months old, so I’m not worried about the spec (512 MB RAM, AMD Athlon XP 1.7). My major concern was PS5’s serial number format – I heard that it wasn’t compatible with PS7 or higher (which now has a 20 or 25 character serial number).

You will get a new serial # with the CS upgrade – the serial # has changed for everyone….
