I am running an extremely fast new system, but am experiencing slow rendering on Photoshop 7. Adding Gradients, saving, and other heavy processing type of functions are taking way too long for this workhorse system (Athlon 3000+, 1 GB RAM, 128 MB Video, 7200 RPM 80 GB HD). Any ideas?

Do not boot from the network (look in your bios), I have similar problems with photoshop and I have a Boxx (dual pIV xeon 3.06, etc)
