How do I enlarge the docking well?

In PS 7.0 my docking well is very small and hardly has any space for me to dock several pallets. Is there any way I can make this well "longer"?

Increase the display settings of your monitor if it will allow you to do so i.e. 1024×768, 1600×1200, etc… Increasing display settings may also depend on what your video card can support.

The size of the docking well depends on screen pixel-size. Try the highest possible and see for your self.
BTW below 1024×768 there isn’t a docking well at all.
