How can I restore this? I’m trying to use batch command under file automate, (under windows XP, with 1 gig RAM) but for some reason it is not an available option. Thank you. My e-mail is Thank you very much! Happy new year!

Assuming all else is kosher, reinstall photoshop. If that doesn’t work, reset your preferences per the procedure in the faq’s. If Batch isn’t present, you’ve likely deleted something somewhere along the lines. Is there anything else enabled under Automate?

Tony:

Tom’s going be with us in a minute. He and I just started brainstorming offline.

New XP install; reinstalled PS 7 after that. Unknown how long it’s been between XP and PS 7 reinstall. More to follow.

Still flailing. Deleted prefs; no luck. Looking for presence of

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Plug-Ins\Adobe Photoshop Only\Automate

now…
