Kia’s Power Tools freezes in PS 7

Can anyone help me……..when I installed Kia’s Power Tools 3 in Photoshop 7 it froze when I used it. It made the filtering image and when it opened up in the PS screen it froze everything ……..it worked perfectly ok in PS
6……….does anyone have any ideas why it freezes in PS 7?

Get the Photoshop 7.0.1 update from adobe.com. Adobe worked around a bug in Kai’s Power Tools.

There’s a way to unfreeze after using the filter without installing the update, but I forget what it is.
