I can’t speak for Adobe, but if you need a good plugin for the A2 consider: <http://www.dalibor.cz/minolta/plugin.htm>
I have used his 7i plugin for about a year and been very happy with it.

Many thanks! I will download the trial version. BTW, I just got the A2 but have been using the 7i and have been very satisfied with it.
