Very easy in Imageready, but how do you import an animated gif into Photoshop CS3 ext. and keep the frame-edit function?
If I try it using the ‘open’ command, I get a message saying that I can only view one frame.
If I use ‘open as’ and choose ‘quicktime movie, avi,…’, I get a videolayer. Converting to ‘frame animation’ results in again one frame! Any ideas how to solve this would be much appreciated.

Sorry, I found it.
You choose (on the fly-out menu in the animation palette) ‘Flatten Frames into Layers’.
From then on everything works as it used to.
Cheers.

thanks that is good to know for when I make the switch to CS3 I just found about not having image ready
and so far I cannot make any macromedia program do anything I want it to and I gave up trying to learn it
(Flash, Fireworks, dreamweaver)
I have sworn off web design
in favor of concentrating on more creative work and will leave that to the experts
php xtml css whatever gives me a headache

You’re welcome.
I’m using the Design Suite and it really blows me away!
The interaction between the apps is amazing.
Only thing I miss (for the moment) is Imageready, but I guess that’ll be just a matter of time.
Free advice: go for the extended version, it’s really worth every penny more.
I wish you lot’s of inspiration!
