I’ve just discovered that File > Open no longer lists bitmap files. They don’t appear when "Files of All Types" is selected, nor is .bmp one of the choices in the drop-down dialog box.

Haven’t added any new graphics programs that could have hijacked .bmp. Anyone know what could have changed?

I had that exact same thing happen, never found the cause, I reinstalled.

Thank you for that RSD99, I’ve always enviied people like you who never make mistakes. But my father told me a very long time ago that a man who makes no mistakes never makes anything.

I’m sure it must give you great satisfaction to be able to point out other people’s typos. All newsgroups have their resident farts, just a pity this one seems to be gathering more than its fair share.

Was he look meaningfully at you when he said it? 😎

Joking aside, I can’t see any spelling errors in your original message. Twits like RSD99 are best ignored.

Hey … idiots …

Windows Explorer’s ‘Find’ function will **not** find your file if you can’t spell the name.
