cut a file in a batch job?

Hello,

I have severall hundred files in the same page size (A3) which I would like to cut into two equal pieces. I dont know how, especially how I could do the rename process in a batch job. Any suggestions?

Why do you want to cut them into two pieces ?

Do you want to print them onto 2 A4 sheets
