I have a problem that’s driving me crazy.

Whenever I save a tiff file as a LZW compressed file, when I open it again in photoshop it comes up blank. Even if I resave it as jpeg, it will still open up blank.

No problems with uncompressed tiffs.

Every time I have to open the file in Paintshop Pro, save it as a jpeg, and then photoshop will see it and I can resave it as un uncompressed tiff.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

TIA,

Richard.

From the Adobe 7.01 update page under fixes:

" TIFF files with LZW compression are now written correctly."

Thanks,

That does indeed work, but I still can’t see all the tiffs previously compressed and saved under v 7.0.

That’s because they weren’t saved correctly.
