I’m going to try my best not to make this confusing. What I’m trying to do it make a logo transparent and either save it as a shape or an action, so i can use it for my watermark. I have a log i made in photoshop. I used text and I had to rasterize it so that i could erase part of the one letter to make my logo. Since i rasterized it, I can’t turn it into a shape. Every way I’ve tried to do this has not worked. PLEASE help me if you have any idea what I’m talking about I’m going crazy.

Hi,
You may be better off reapplying your text then use a layer mask to do the erasing. If you really want to get your shape back you can select the text – by whatever method – then convert that to paths then do a Layer>Vector Mask>Current path. But it will probably need a lot of cleaning up.

Good luck,
Ron

You could make it into a brush and apply that in your action.

How complex is the erased section? If the answer is "not very", I’d probably suggest starting the logo again, converting the text to a shape, and chopping out the bit/bits you don’t want with the Pen Tool. That way it’ll all be vector, and will scale up and down nicely.

You *could* just select your logo, and go: "Edit > Define Brush Preset" and save it as a brush, but that’s far from ideal. Very far.

1. Make anything, any shape, any form you want appear on screen

2. Turn it into BRUSH and use as BRUSH.

Then of course you can set the Opacity, Color to your liking.
