I tried adding Adobe Gamma (i have the .cpl file) to the control panel (windows xp) using the instructions here:
<http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=292463>
but it didn’t work.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Got XP? Try the Control Panel in Classic View.

Log-in in as the administrator, it is only there under that login…

If it does not appear even when logged as administrator, move the cpl file and the Adobe Gamma loader to the system32 folder. Then redo the direct accesses to gamma loader "all users" start folder (and maybe as well in that of the Administrator account). End session and log again.

For what it has been told here up to now, to run Adobe gamma you’ve got to be administrator of the machine. Afterwards, to automatically load the monitor profile at the start, you can just log as a normal user.

PS: I’ve always wanted to be able to run AG as a normal user in W2K 🙁
