Several shapes that are group together

Hello.
I have created several shapes.
I have noticed that when the shaped are very closed, and they have gradiant color (i.e. from red to blue, and the color is expended from the center to outside as a circle gradiant) –
in that case the gradiant is one for all the shapes.

Why – Is there a parameter for that (are the shapes grouped together ?) What if I don’t want the above behaviour.

Hi

I think you need to just create the shape on a new layer.. ? In CS, the default action is different from the earlier versions….?
