I’m trying to find some documentation on the adobe photoshop tiff file format extensions specifically to do with layers. I want to be able to read off layers OUTSIDE of photoshop. I have the Adobe photoshop tiff techncial notes document from the SDK but it refers to the Photoshop File Formats.pdf document which doesnt seem to exist.

Specifically, Im looking for ‘Layr’ (layer data) documentation found for
Field: ImageSourceData
Tag: 37724 (935C.H)
with
Signature ‘8BIM’
Type ‘Layr’

Thanks

Not exactly what you want, but here’s code that extracts layer data from PSDs:
