Just moved up to OSX, so ‘scuse the dummy question, please. Is there any reason not to install Elements2 in both OSX and OS9 environments? Can you move files between those versions of Elements without a major hassle? And where does one find OSX plugins, assuming there are any?

Hi, Cydne. You don’t need to reinstall PE 2. Install it in X and then when you’re in 9, navigate to PE and open it and it will run. If you want easy access in 9 to a file you’ve been working on in X, just shove into the 9 desktop folder alias on your X desktop and it will be there waiting for you right on the desktop when you get to 9. Many applications work this way. Appleworks and Quicken, for example.

There are many plug-ins for X. If you go to the challenge site and look at the links page, a whole bunch of the links there will take you to good things that work in X. The Adobe Studio Exchange <http://share.studio.adobe.com/axBrowseSubmit.asp?t=12> is also a great source for free stuff, although you do have to register there to be able to download. There are many, many plug-ins for X, just not the bazillions there are for 9.
